Ashley joined GMCF in June 2025, bringing 14 years of dynamic experience in communications and event planning. A Kansas State University graduate in public relations and marketing, she served as Director of PR and Marketing at Community Memorial Healthcare and co-founded a wedding planning company in 2016.
Starting as a reporter and then advertising director for the Marysville Advocate, Ashley developed a deep knowledge of Marshall County. Since choosing rural life, she's become a community driving force, past-president of Marysville Main Street, Chamber ambassador, and Leadership Marshall County graduate. Her track record includes helping pass a $26 million school bond (2015), $5 million hospital sales tax (2019, renewed 2024), and city pool funding (2010). She volunteers graphic design skills and chairs committees for local events while serving on numerous boards.
